Suwanee Town Center Park is probably best described as a community hub. At its core it is a 10 acre park that features a large cleared green space area surrounded by a paved walkway with part of that green space being a terraced amphitheater and outdoor stage for hosting live concerts and performances. Couple those things with the restaurants, boutiques, town homes and running trails nestled up and you start to get the picture why so much is happening at Suwanee Town Center Park.
Oh, and never mind that the park is super easy to get to, being right at the corner of two popular Suwanee roads. And there is small thing that the Suwanee City Hall, which is located among the boutiques and restaurants, is one of the most pristine buildings in Gwinnett and you really start to understand why the Suwanee community is so proud of this place.
The summer is a busy time at Town Center. It hosts several events from 5K runs to vendor events to outdoor concerts to farmer’s markets. The large fountain is a popular spot for parents to bring their children to cool off by running and playing among the several jets of water bursting from the ground at timed intervals.
Suwanee Town Center Park is also a popular place for runners and bikers because it connects to the Suwanee Creek Greenway. The Suwanee Creek Greenway is a hard surface trail that runs for over four miles and connects to several other Gwinnett parks.
