Lin’s Bistro is a Chinese and Thai restaurant that might look a typical small Chinese sit-down/takeout restaurant located in a strip mall, but it isn’t. The best way I can describe it is as a hidden Chinese wonderland. The food gets high marks from me, both in quality and quantity. As an added bonus, each dish usually has some small garnish that lets you know somebody cares.
Lin’s Bistro remains one of our no-brainer restaurants when we want something good, fast. I also do my best to recommend it to others in the area looking for a good Chinese restaurant.
Some of my personal favorite dishes are:
Mango Chicken - great balance of sweetness and spice
Honey Walnut Shrimp – unique taste, a bit heavy on the mayo. I recommend splitting this with someone because I usually grow tired of eating this solely as a main dish.
Pork Pad Thai – I went on a Pad Thai kick for a few months, and Lin’s is the one of the best I’ve had.
Mongolian Triple – Great when you aren’t feeling adventurous and you can’t decide exactly what you want.
I started Capture Gwinnett precisely to try to help out this type of business. Lin’s Bistro is a very good restaurant, but unfortunately it is a bit out of the way and they don’t do any kind of marketing to become more well-known. If you are looking for a good Chinese place to eat, then do yourself a favor and head to Lin’s Bistro.
